5/12/11- Made the decision to begin pursuing our fostering license with the goal of having children in our home after Addilece turns three.
7/16/11- Met and fell in love with D & D. God used this to speak to our hearts about our time line for Foster Care. Called DCFS a few weeks later to officially start the project.
9/8/11- Meeting with DCFS Licensing Worker
10/4/11 to 11/29/11- PRIDE classes....3 hours every Tuesday
1/4/12 - Application paperwork official complete and turned in.
2/10/12 - 2nd meeting with DCFS Licensing Worker
3/13/12 - 3rd meeting the DCFS Licensing Worker
4/6/12 - Received our official license in the mail.
Licensed for 3 children ages 0 to 10
5/25/12 - First placement of a 10 year old boy (Our Guy)
5/12 - Licenses expanded for 3 children ages 0 to 12
7/4/12 - Our Guy goes home! :)
7/9/12 - Placement of a Big Brother (5), Little Man (2), and Baby Girl (2)
10/5/13 - Termination of Parental Rights
11/1/13 - Bio Mom Appeals TPR
4/23/14 - Appeal Denied
1/5/15 - Happy Adoption Day!
3/11/15 - Surrender of Foster Care License
