A Look Back at 2012

One of my favorite posts every year it to look back at the year.  It is so much fun to recap.  Like most years this was a year filled with change, but not in the same way as before.  We had no graduations, no moves, and no job changes.  It was one of the most "stable" years we had in the normal sense.  But we have always welcomed 4 new kiddos into our lives in the past year, among other things.

January:

I turned 24.  My husband blessed me with an amazing weekend alone.
February:
Enjoyed a local hockey game, Addilece's first.

March:

April:

 We celebrated Easter.

And we officially became Licensed Foster Parents.

Tony turned 24 years old.

May:

We said hello to our sweet new nephew, Aeron.

June:

We headed to the Indiana State Dunes for vacation.

Swim Lessons!

July:

We said good-bye to Our Guy.

Less then one week later we said hello to Big Brother, Little Man, and Baby Girl.

Addilece was the flower girl in a friend's wedding.

Addilece learned to ride her bike during this month.

She also celebrated her 3rd Birthday with a Princess Tea Party.

August:

Big Brother also started school this month.

September:

We finished off our rounds of birthdays with Little Man and Baby Girl turning 3.

We celebrated by taking them to the Zoo.  Our first trip as a family of six and the first time 3 months we attempted an outing such as this.

I said good-bye to my friend Megan as she headed off to Africa for 2 years.

Big Brother lost his first tooth.

October:

Little Man began school in the local ECSE (Early Childhood Special Education) with two amazing teachers.

We took our annual trip to the local pumpkin patch and had a blast.

November:

We celebrated a wonderful Thanksgiving with Tony's family.  It was another learning experience for us and our kids.

Tony began his MBA program.

Little Man had a 24 hour EEG done.

December:

Addilece went to a local ballet with her Daddy.

We enjoyed Christmas with both our families and our kids.
